Apple plans to abandon 3D technology Touch into iPhone

Apple plans to abandon 3D Touch technology in its smartphones in 2019. This was reported by Curtis blaine (Blayne Curtis) from the analyst firm Barclays, citing information gathered at meetings with companies from the production supply chain of Apple.

3D Touch determines the touch screen gives you additional options for navigation. According to analyst, the producers expect the rejection of the 3D Touch in iPhone with OLED displays in 2019, such as the third generation of X iPhone and second generation iPhone X Plus. However, sources warn that the plans are not yet final and may change in the future.

Earlier analyst Ming-Chi Kuo (Ming-Chi Kuo), known for its connections with the supply chain of manufacturers, said that this year’s 3D Touch will not be used in low-cost 6.1-inch, the iPhone’s LCD screen. Thus, it appears that in 2019 3D Touch will disappear from all of the new Apple smartphones.

According to earlier leaks, the fall Apple will release two OLED models with a diagonal of 5.8 and 6.5 inches, the new iPhone X and X iPhone Plus, as well as a 6.1-inch “budget” LCD model called the iPhone 9. All of them will receive frameless design, the function of recognizing a user’s face Face ID, and a faster processor A12. The older two models are equipped with dual main chambers, and the youngest — the usual single.
