Company HMD Global, which is now responsible for the release of Nokia’s smartphones, received a trademark PureView. Previously, the brand was bought by Microsoft Nokia.
Brand PureView debuted in 2012 and the launch of the Nokia 808 PureView with 41 MP camera at MWC 2012. Subsequently, it went to about a dozen of Lumia smartphones from Nokia first, and then from Microsoft. Now trademark PureView officially passed into the possession of the HMD. This is evidenced by documentation on the website of the intellectual property Office of the European Union.
We can assume that now we can see the new Nokia c cameras PureView. However, before the HMD was purchased from the Microsoft brand Asha and had not yet released him.
