The Windows 95 operating system are often installed on different devices and platforms, just to show that it is possible. Windows 95 has already been run on the Apple Watch, smartwatches based on Android Wear and even Xbox One.
Now the developer Felix Reisenberg (Felix Rieseberg) took place in this madness even further — he made Windows 95 application that can run on macOS, Windows and Linux. The application is implemented in freymore Electron.
Reisenberg, has released the source code and the installer app on Github. Once installed on a modern OS, in Windows 95 you can run the good old Wordpad, MS Paint, and even Minesweeper. Unfortunately, Internet Explorer is not fully functional and simply refuses to load pages.
The app weighs in at 129 MB. In production mode, it requires about 200 MB of RAM even when running all the utilities, applications and games on Windows 95.
