Company LG Electronics and the American operator Sprint has announced plans to release the first smartphone with support of cellular communication of the fifth generation in 2019.
The exact timing of the release, as well as the technical characteristics of the smartphone is not yet announced. We can only say with certainty that LG will present in the first months of 2019 flagship smartphone with built in 5G modem.
The basis of the smartphone will be a Snapdragon platform, and Qualcomm has already announced the X50 for her modem with speeds up to 5 GB/s. Note that the operator Sprint plans to launch a 5G network in six U.S. cities in 2018 and three in 2019.
