Google released Android lightweight 9 Pie (Go Edition) for budget smartphones

Google introduced its version of Go edition for the latest version of the Android operating system 9 Pie. As with last year’s Android Oreo (Go Edition), new Android 9 Pie (Go edition) is designed for low-powered budget smartphones.

With this Android 9 Pie (Go edition) brings an additional 500 MB of free space on the drive compared to Android Oreo (Go Edition) and more than doubled compared to the standard OS, fast boot and other innovations.

The first smartphones with Android Pie (Go Edition) will be available in autumn, and the update will begin towards the end of the year.
