Google is preparing for chromebooks in Boot Camp from Apple, which will run on laptops with Chrome OS operating system Windows 10. Evidence of this was noticed by the user community of mobile developers XDA Developers tracking development project Chromium on GitHub.
We are talking about the project, codenamed Campfire. The developers have launched a new branch of firmware for Google Pixelbook called eve-campfire and work on Alt mode OS. The authors of XDA Developers managed to get confirmation that the Alt OS is in fact Windows 10. They also found “evidence” that proves this is not just an internal project, it is preparing for a public release.
In addition, the draft refers to “many options” Campfire. This means that the function alternative boot will not only Pixelbook, but other chromebooks.
