Vivo will start to update the smartphones to Android 9.0 Pie for winter

Chinese company Vivo has confirmed its plans to update its smartphones to the latest version of the Android operating system 9.0 Pie. This was told by the relevant resource AndroidAuthority, received an official response Vivo in the email.

Vivo is going to start distributing the firmware updates with Android 9.0 Pie in the fourth quarter of 2018. Concrete company has not yet disclosed. However, presumably, the first will be updated frameless smartphone Vivo X21. Also among the first smartphones with the new OS can be Vivo Nex with retractable front-facing camera.

Note that the stable version of the next OS version, Android 9 Pie, was submitted to Google on Monday evening and had begun to spread for the first smartphones.
