Samsung announced the list of its smartphones that can still expect to upgrade to the Android operating system 8 Oreo.
Note that the stable version of the next OS version, Android 9 Pie, was submitted to Google on Monday evening and had begun to spread the first smartphones.
In total, the roadmap of Samsung for update Android Oreo, there are dozens of smartphones average level, some of them have been released in 2016. Seven of the twelve are these smartphone debuted with Android 6 Marshmallow “on Board”, then got Android 7 Nougat.
So, Samsung plans to release a firmware update with Android 8 Oreo for the following smartphones:
- Galaxy J7 Neo in December 2018
- Galaxy Tab A 2017 January 2019
- Galaxy A9 Pro 2016 to January 2019
- Galaxy C7 Pro in January 2019
- Galaxy C9 Pro in January 2019
- Galaxy J2 2018 January 2019
- Galaxy On5 2016 to January 2019
- Galaxy On7 2016 to January 2019
- Galaxy J7 2018 January 2019
- Galaxy J7 2017 January 2019
- Galaxy J7 Max in February 2019
- Galaxy J7 2016 to March 2019
