HTC has reported the worst sales over the past 15 years

Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer HTC continues to endure. If in June, its sales fell by nearly 68 percent, the company reported the worst sales revenue over the past 15 years.

In July HTC revenue amounted to 45.7 million U.S. dollars, which is approximately 77% less than the results of the same quarter last year. In June, revenues amounted to 72 million dollars, and in may sales reached 80 million dollars. Total for the first half of 2018 HTC got 555 million U.S. dollars, which is 54% less than the results of the first half of 2017.

Note that in 2018, HTC has released only one smartphone, the flagship HTC U12 Plus. In the end of June, HTC announced big job cuts — almost a quarter of the state, or 1.5 thousand people.
