Beeline, MegaFon and MTS intranet roaming cancel

It seems that the efforts of the Federal Antimonopoly service of Russia for the suppression of intra-network roaming has finally brought fruit. Operators Beeline, MegaFon and MTS, almost simultaneously, announced the cancellation of fees for incoming calls in national roaming when traveling across the country.

First, the statement made a Beeline, MegaFon. “Beeline” zeroing all incoming calls to the operator’s network outside the region of the connection will be free from August 20, and MegaFon — for the greater part of the subscribers the changes will take effect until September 1, for the remaining in the first half of September.

After Beeline and MegaFon with comments made by the operator, however, without naming the exact date. According to the statement a press-services of MTS had all the necessary preparatory work, and “soon” incoming calls travelling across the country will be free for its subscribers.
