Motorola introduced its new flagship smartphone Moto Z3. It is positioned as the first smartphone with the option “upgrade to 5G”.
Simultaneously with the smartphone was presented to the panel 5G Moto Mod, when you connect a smartphone which will receive the support of cellular networks of the fifth generation. It has an extra battery of 2000 mAh and will provide access to the 5G network of the American operator Verizon, whose launch is planned for 2019.
The housing consists of a glass panel Corning Gorilla Glass and aluminum frame 6000 series. The fingerprint scanner is located on the side face. Moto Z3 is equipped with a 6-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution Full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) and an aspect ratio of 18:9, dual camera primary 12+12 MP and front camera of 8 MP.
The smartphone has a OCTA-core processor from Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal flash memory expandable with cards of the format microSD up to 2 TB, and battery capacity of 3000 mAh. Dimensions are 156,5 x 76,7 x 6,75 mm, weight — 156 grams.
There is a connector for connecting modular panels Mod Moto and a USB Type-C, but there is no 3.5 mm headphone Jack. The smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo. Supported 4G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi (802.11 ac ), Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS and NFC. Provides a coating that protects from water.
Moto Z3 is available for $ 480 in the US. Socket 5G Moto Mod will only appear in the US in early 2019.
