The next iPad Pro will have a thin framework and a system recognizing a user’s face FaceID, deprived of the branded home button. Hints of it were discovered in the latest beta version of iOS 12.
In the fifth beta version of iOS 12 for developers there is a new icon for the iPad, significantly different from its predecessor. It shows a thin screen frame and no home button. While the screen is missing a cutout in the style of iPhone X. Also in the code of the firmware there is mention of Face ID feature.
Earlier in the fifth beta version of iOS 12 developers had discovered evidence to support two SIM cards the iPhone 2018 and special landscape mode in iPad style iPhone X Plus.
According to earlier leaks, Apple is working on two new models of iPad Pro with a diagonal of 11 and 12.9 inches. They will be frameless like the iPhone X will lose home button and fingerprint scanner Touch ID, but will get a Face ID.
