The story of the first business card of bill gates and Paul Allen

All with something began. Microsoft started with two friends who decided to write software for the microcomputer. They started a company and made myself business cards. Today, these business cards are stored in the Microsoft headquarters in Redmond. Tell about their history.

The first business card of the President of Microsoft bill gates and Vice-President Paul Allen was published in 1975. Then the two childhood friends worked on the version of the programming language BASIC for the Altair 8800 microcomputer. Allen offered to call Microsoft because they are doing software development for the microcomputer. Almost immediately the name was shortened to Microsoft.

MITS, the company that produced the Altair, located in Albuquerque. Gates and Allen wanted to be there, and that’s why Microsoft was founded in this city. The address left on the business card. Then bill gates made a bold decision to abandon further study at Harvard and move to new Mexico. Not many could say that this man will become the richest after such a decision.

In 1979, Microsoft moved from Albuquerque to Bellevue, Washington. It grew up there, gates and Allen. In the same year, bill gates could afford my first personal Porsche 911. In 1985 the company moved to its current headquarters in Redmond. It is there now and put up the first business card of bill gates and Paul Allen. They can be seen in the only part of the Microsoft corporate headquarters, which is open for visits.
