Samsung filed a patent for a flexible phone and how it works. Previously, the network has repeatedly appeared rumors about a folding smartphone called the Samsung Galaxy X. it is possible, the patent reflected his rough design.
It shows the smartphone is emerging as a clamshell, only instead of a screen and keyboard the entire inner surface is one continuous display. In the unfolded state it is entirely available for use. But as soon as the device is bent, even slightly, the lower part of the screen is turned off and approximately 40% of the entire area of the display remain “in progress”.
A special sensor monitors the bend angle, speed, position and time bend. The fold mechanism allows you to lock the screen at an angle. When a user taps the back surface of the smartphone will include a portion of the display, if it turns out the pressure — turns the entire screen.
