Sberbank will replace some employees with robots

Savings can replace some of the jobs on robots. This was reported by the newspaper, RIA Novosti reported with reference to albert Efimov, head of robotics lab of the savings Bank.

However, Yefimov said that robots designed to increase productivity, not replace “real” employees. He said: “This can not be, that’s for sure so be it. We just don’t make robots so they replaced people. Under any circumstances we’re not going to do. We make robots to increase the productivity of human labor. These are two different tasks.”

The example shows the situation when three people will be able to serve not three counting and sorting machine for banknotes, and ten. That is, the robotics will increase productivity, will help to cope with peak load during the holidays, but these people will not have to cut.

Robotics is planned in three directions: industrial-collaborative robotics, logistics robots, unmanned vehicles, both air and ground, industrial exoskeletons and personal service robots-assistants.

At the end of 2017, the head of Sberbank German Gref announced the beginning of mass robotization. He promised then that a sharp reduction in workers eating because of this is not expected because employees will transfer to the new specialty.
