System C-V2X provides for the direct exchange of data in real time over a range of frequencies allocated for intelligent transport systems. The technology worked, including outside the coverage area of the cellular network.
To demonstrate used Autonomous passenger cars Ford, PSA and BMW, as well as two-wheeled scooters BMW. They all received wireless communication chipset Qualcomm 9150 C-V2X.
The company Savari provide a system of interaction between vehicles, application software, and also the very road infrastructure.
The specialists underline that the C-V2X can be implemented in the automotive industry starting in 2020.
