Microsoft has unveiled its smallest and cheapest tablet

Microsoft introduced today the Surface of Go. It is positioned as the most compact and accessible Surface in history.

Microsoft Surface Go is equipped with 10-inch display with an aspect ratio of 3:2 and a resolution of 1800 x 1200 pixels, a processor Intel Pentium Gold 4415Y seventh generation, 4 or 8 GB of RAM, 128 or 256 GB solid state drive. Ports include a microSD card slot, 3.5 mm headphone Jack and USB Type-C.

The claimed battery life lasts up to nine hours. The tablet is offered with the operating system Windows 10 in a special simplified S-mode, however users are free to switch to the full version of Windows 10. The tablet supports keyboard-cover Type Cover and Surface Pen stylus, but you need to buy them separately.

Accepting pre-orders for the Microsoft Surface Go with Wi-Fi opens July 10 in the United States, Canada, New Zealand, UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Australia, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Poland, Italy, Portugal and Spain. Model 4+64 GB is 399$, 8+128 GB is 549 USD. Sales will begin on 2 August 2018. Towards the end of the year will be a version with LTE.
