Often it happens that the company’s plans do not coincide with realities. But not in this case. Because recently the Chinese company has already released the first batch of unmanned buses, which will begin to circulate on the streets of China and Japan in the near future.
The first batch of buses has 100 copies and, according to the publication Messgaes, one bus will hold 14 passengers. To drive vehicles will have autopilot, Apollo fourth generation. In the Chinese city of Shenzhen unmanned buses is scheduled to start this year. The first route through city streets is just 3 kilometers and will include 10 stops. In Japan, the launch is scheduled in first quarter of 2019.
