The Polish team of ecologists EcoLogic will be forced to pay for 20 hours of international calls to 10 thousand zlotys, which they did not commit. This told the daily Polish newspaper Super Express.
For comparison, a 10 thousand zlotys is about 2.7 thousand dollars, 2.3 thousand euros or 168 thousand rubles. SIM card which environmentalists have exhibited such account were established in a special tracker.
The tracker was worn on stork named Kika (Kajtka) and was supposed to help trace the route of the winter flights through Africa and return home in the spring. However, after a 3.7 per thousand miles of the “run” SIM card suddenly settled in the valley of the Blue Nile in East Sudan and the communication with the tracker was lost.
As told by the specialists from EcoLogic, apparently, a resident of Sudan was removed from the birds tracker, put a SIM card into your own phone and uttered at international rates more than 20 hours.
