The project was presented by the expert Council under the government, it was approved last week by the interim Commission of the Federation Council on information society development.
In the framework of the concept in Russia should appear in the control system of the phones unique IMEI codes aimed at combating theft of mobile phones and illegal importation. Devices that fall into the black list will not be served by operators. Simple buyers and companies who import the phones into the country, have to register the device in a special database of the IMEI using the phone stores or special portal.
