DICE and Electronic Arts announced the launch of closed alpha testing Battlefield V. Invited players will be able to compete in “Capture” mode and try “major operation” called “the Fall of Norway”.
In “the Fall of Norway,” the action takes place on the map “Arctic fjord”. The gamers will have the opportunity to meet two days of the operation, fighting in two of the available modes: “Assault” and “Breakthrough”.
Was also announced the system requirements for the tested version. Interestingly, they are slightly increased in comparison with the Battlefield 1. Minimum system requirements are as follows:
- Operating system: Windows 7 (64-bit), Windows 8.1, or Windows 10
- Processor (AMD): AMD FX-8350
- Processor (Intel): Core i5 6600K
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Video card (NVIDIA): NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 / GTX 660 2GB
- Graphics card (AMD): AMD Radeon HD 7850 2 GB
- DirectX: graphics card compatible with DirectX 11.0 or equivalent
- Internet: 512 kbps or higher connection stability
- Free space on hard disk: 50 GB
The release of Battlefield V scheduled for October 19, 2018. The action takes place during the Second world war, continuing Battlefield 1, the plot of which occurred during the First world war. While rumors about the exception of the single-player campaign is not confirmed, it has been preserved, the game offers multiple storylines “war stories” from different characters. Premium access is not assumed. The developers specifically note that all players will get the same maps and modes.
