“Kaspersky lab” has published the results of a study of how Russian users protect their mobile Ostrava. As it turned out, 17% of Russian Internet users do not protect their mobile and more than half (58%) do not give them the password.
71% of respondents regularly go online from your smartphone and 35% from the tablet. More than a third (41%) of respondents use smartphones for transactions online banking. In the case of burglary or loss of the device, attackers can gain access to confidential user information. In addition, 57% of respondents regularly go from smartphones to their email accounts, and 59% – in the social network.
However, only 30% of the users create backup data stored on the mobile gadgets, 21% use the function “anti-theft” and 11% encrypt files and folders to prevent unauthorized access to them.
