June 27, 1972, was born the legendary company Atari. It created a game familiar to all — even if you haven’t seen them live, just saw in a movie.
The Atari founders Nolan Bushnell and Ted Dabney had experience in very young then the game industry: they have developed the game “Computer Space”, which is in the form of machines produced by Nutting Associates. However, the game in which it was necessary to destroy a UFO, turned out to be unpopular. Bushnell felt that it was too difficult, at least for the main auditorium of the institutions in which set these gaming machines — that is, bars. He and a partner began looking for ideas for something simpler, stayed for the racing, but in the end had based a tennis of the world’s first console, the Magnavox Odyssey (the console wasn’t even released — the heroes saw a demonstration of the prototype) and turned it into a arcade game Pong: two bits, each moving along its edge field, one ball.

The company rapidly grew in the early 80’s sales exceeded one billion dollars. June 27, 1967, established the world’s first ATM. The machine found its place in Enfield, North London. The first ATM
The first ATM was not able to work with the cards — he took the vouchers, which the client had to the Bank in advance. Russia’s first ATMs appeared in the Soviet Union in 1991, but they were given cash and American Express travellers cheques. As the first full-fledged “money machine” set in Moscow in Gastronome “Novoarbatsky” in 1994, he belonged to the Bridge-Bank Vladimir Gusinsky.
