The game is interesting not only the plot, but also the revolutionary technologies: the products and the buildings on the map was not flat images (“sprites”), as it were, for example, in Doom, and the real three-dimensional objects.

Beta Quake no single mode was released in February of 96, and on the first day, then in the Internet there are dozens of game servers. But the birthday became a cult game should be considered on 22 June, when Activision became possible to download the full version with one episode.

The last roll of Kodachrome went to National Geographic photographer Steve McCurry, who loaded her own Nikon F6 and went eastward to Bombay, Rajasthan, Istanbul, London and back to new York.
