Twitter banned “Kaspersky Lab” to advertise on the social network

Apparently, the wave of skepticism towards the “Kaspersky Lab” (Kaspersky Lab), which develops the world’s most famous antivirus, has come to microblogging in Twitter. Yesterday, the founder of the company developing antivirus under his name, Eugene Kaspersky discovered that Twitter told him not to advertise their company and product. The decision was quietly made in January.

“In a brief letter from an unnamed Twitter employee of our company reported that it uses a business model that is inherently in conflict with accepted Twitter practice, the advertising business,” wrote Kaspersky. “I can tell you that we did not violate any written or unwritten rules, and our business model is very simple and follows the template of the business model, which is used throughout the industry cyber security, we provide users with products and services, and they pay for them”.

He noted that the company has spent about 93 000 dollars for the advertising on Twitter in 2017. Also the virus called the CEO of Twitter Jack Dorsey to clarify the reasons why the company is banned to advertise. Reply to an official letter he received.

In December 2017, the President of the United States Donald trump is given the status of law to the September decision of the Ministry of internal security, which forbade government agencies to use the products “Kaspersky Lab”, because it can be used by Russian intelligence to gain access to U.S. government documents. In July, the company has excluded from the list of authorized suppliers for public procurement, an official ban was issued later. In December, “Kaspersky Lab” was submitted to the court in the same month, was closed by the office in Washington. Obviously, “Kaspersky Lab” fell into disgrace over the ocean and lost a large market.
