“If we start the mission from may to September, we didn’t get to use for experiments on the moon full moon day of eclipses. Therefore, we at ISRO decided to postpone the start of the mission on the first week of October,” said Sivan in an interview.
Earlier it was reported that in 2018 India plans to send to the orbit of the moon camera “Chandrayaan-2” and land on its surface a Rover of its own design. Apparatus “Chandrayaan-2” should become the successor of the automatic station “Chandrayaan-1”, which launched to the moon in October 2008.
