We have repeatedly told you about the robot-dog named SpotMini, which was developed by engineers at Boston Dynamics (now owned by a Japanese concern SoftBank). The exhibition MARS in 2018, organized by the Amazon company and is dedicated to robotics, camera lenses got famous entrepreneur Jeff Bezos, who was walking across the lawn in front of the Fairgrounds in the company SpotMini.
SpotMini is a four-legged robot, which in different versions can be equipped with additional equipment, including advanced manipulators for interaction with the environment. In a recent published on the official YouTube channel video engineers Boston Dynamics showed the fans how the robot self-opens locked doors and even if it cooperates with other robots performing collaborative tasks.
Jeff Bezos as the organizer and the chief ideologist of the exhibition MARS in 2018, just couldn’t stay away from the offspring of the famous robotics and posted a photo with the walking SpotMini in its official Twitter, with the following comment:
“I took my new dog for a walk on the territory where the conference takes place MARS in 2018”.
Well, it seems that Boston Dynamics has presented a robot-dog to the founder of Amazon. In addition to walking with SpotMini, Bezos also distinguished by the fact that I played one of the variations of “beer ping pong” (beer pong) with another robot. According to the rules of the game you need to throw over a table tennis table half-empty bottle of liquid so that it eventually fell exactly on the bottom. Winning this duel was not. We remind you that in addition to Amazon Bezos also owns an aerospace company, Blue Origin, and the total fortune is more than $ 105 billion, making him the richest man on the planet.
