The developers of the us start-up has decided to compete with Amazon by releasing its own artificial intelligence system, capable of automating any shop. Previously, “smart” shop with a fully automated service in the United States introduced the Amazon, but soon to compete with the giant e-Commerce can any businessman, owning a retail space.
The solution, developed by specialists of AiFi, involves not only a lack of sellers and banks. The buyer just go inside the store, choose the item and go on about their business. Write-off of money happens automatically — AI algorithm will do everything by himself. In AiFi explain that their solution makes it easy to automate any existing store or supermarket, whereas Amazon have to upgrade the outlet.
Besides the fact that the AI from AiFi able to release the goods and expect customers, it is able to collect data about how visitors behave. Collecting statistics and analyzing the information obtained, the program learns over time to better manage the shop and serve customers. The collected data is processed and then passed on to the owners, who can also take the information.
The head of a startup AiFi noted that the system tests will start in late 2018 — the first store will open closer to Christmas and the New year. After AiFi will test his development, the company plans to open a network of such smart shopping.
