Not so long ago we told you about a new trick that the engineers from Boston Dynamics taught his mechanical pet SpotMini. The robot dog acquired by the robotic arm and is now able to open doors, making it difficult for him to get into the next room. But what would happen if it will disturb people? It is this experiment, and held the creators of the robot, while recording the process on video. Offer you to get acquainted with him.
The experiment consisted in the fact that one of the engineers actively obstructed the robot, trying to open the door with the manipulator. In the course went to a hockey stick, which the employee Boston Dynamics interfere with the manipulator to reach the door handle, and then the man and does slammed the door, not allowing me to open it. In addition to all this, the unfortunate robot grabbed him tied to the rope and started to pull back, which he struggled to resist (he even broke off part of the plastic trim).
Anyway, SpotMini stoically endured all the bullying of their creators, escaped from their hands, opened the offending door and ran into the next room. In order not to upset and to annoy the audience (as happened in 2016 with a video where a company employee was pushing and otherwise interfere with work robot Atlas), the video is accompanied by a commentary stating that in the course of the experiment the robot SpotMini not cause any harm. Surprisingly, the robot acts completely Autonomous – they are not controlled with external remote and not ask him the sequence of actions.
