Airline Qantas announced that the company-owned aircraft made an Intercontinental flight from the USA to Australia with fuel partially composed of mustard. For flight used mixed fuel, for 90 percent consisting of conventional aviation kerosene and the remaining ten percent made up of ordinary mustard oil made from the seeds sareptana mustard and is used in the manufacture of canned food and confectionery.

Representatives of the airline Quantas is reported that in the future I plan to increase the share of mustard oil in kerosene, and by 2020, will launch the first fully commercial flight on biofuel.
