To date, the primary method of “delivery” of cosmonauts to the Earth are the capsules, the basic principle of which has not changed for several years. But progress does not stand still, and after the development of new spacecraft company “Technoceramica” produced a new system for the return of astronauts from space to Earth.
In the near future is scheduled to begin its testing, which will be held on the territory of the Crimea Peninsula. The first test samples of the space capsules have a weight of 3 tons. Their plan several times to reset from a great height, in order to observe the behavior of the capsule in the air. This will start testing capsules weighing 9 tonnes (final weight of apparatus).
For dropping capsules from a height will be used helicopters Ka-32 and Mi-8. During the experiments, the experts of the firm “Technoceramica” will observe at what height will open the parachute, how jet engines work and, most importantly, how to come landing. According to the developers,
“The new modules will be reusable, but they need more experience and improve. Observe their behavior and make the necessary changes to the design if required. After completion of all stages of testing the new modules will be launched into production.”
