Electra Meccanica automotive startup from Canada has developed a miniature city electric car on three wheels, which intends to start by the end of 2018.
The date of commencement of serial production, several times had to endure due to lack of funding and other problems, but now the head of the company says that sales will begin according to plan. In the US a miniature electric car can be purchased for 15 thousand dollars.
The Solo car is capable of speeds up to 130 kilometers per hour and a power reserve of machines on a single charge is 150 km. Battery kid Solo charged in three hours from an ordinary wall outlet all the way to urban residents, not to mention the fact that thanks to its dimensions, the machine was very maneuverable and lightweight.
Weighs made of light composite materials, the car is only 600 pounds with a small, but under the hood it has an electric motor power 61 kW, dispersing the car to 100 kilometers in just 8 seconds.
Travel on this machine is unlikely to work, but the requirements of urban residents is consistent with the electric car.
