Suit c Home button itself will return the astronaut to the ISS

Job in outer space — quite a dangerous occupation that is associated with great risk to life. Despite the fact that the astronauts regularly undergo training, learning to work in space suits, the likelihood of an emergency situation always remains high. To reduce the risk of an astronaut, the Draper company has developed and patented a prototype spacesuit with the “autopilot” able to return to the ISS.

The suit will be able to navigate in space using sensors and will use a navigation star map. Small jet engines fitted design, will allow the suit to return to a previously defined point. Astronaut will be able to manage the suit, but there is a system remote control controller for it can be used by other members of the crew.

The prototype is not yet ready, but already has a number of advantages, because the available Arsenal astronaut NASA space suit, though equipped with engines that can save a man’s life in a situation when broke the rope, still completely useless if the astronaut is unconscious. In the future, developers plan to finalize Draper and helmet, turning the visor into a fully functional display, which will display the desired information.
