For the first time since 2010, was beaten the previous speed record vehicle owned by the French car company Bugatti Automobiles. We remind you that seven years ago the French were able to overclock your supercar to the speed of 431 kilometers per hour. Well, sooner or later it had to happen, and now in first place in the table of Champions will be located Swedish car Koenigsegg Agera RS, who managed to reach the speed of 447 miles per hour when driving on a public highway in Nevada.
For the Swedes from Koenigsegg it’s not the first record. In early October this year, the company surpassed the Bugatti one – time acceleration from 0 to 400 kilometers per hour and then complete stopping of the vehicle. Supercar Bugatti it took 42 seconds, and Koenigsegg Agera RS to perform combat tasks took only 36,44 seconds. For acceleration up to 400 km/h the vehicle managed to travel a 1958 meters of 26.88 seconds, and braking to a full stop left of 9.56 seconds. Braking distance in the end amounted to 483 meters. The video record you can see below.
Record the maximum speed was set at 18-km stretch of public highway near Las Vegas. Behind the wheel of a supercar was a professional pilot Niklas Lilja. Representatives Bugatti have already assured the public that in the future will bypass their Swedish competitors in the next year. It is also possible that a new record will put us hypercar Hennessey Venom F5, which in theory is capable of accelerating to an impressive 484 kilometers per hour. Only time will tell who will be the new champion.
