KAMPALA –
In the parliament of Uganda on Tuesday fistfights broke out and chairs are thrown. That happened prior to a debate on the question of whether president Yoweri Museveni, a new term should get. The fights were both regeringsfracties as members of the opposition.

For the parliamentary session fired the police with tear gas at protesting students and activists of the opposition to disperse. A leading opposition leader, Kizza Besigye, was arrested after he tried protests to mobilise the public and to the parliament in march. Besigye is a former physician of Museveni and ex-minister.
