Russia denies that it is in the Syrian province of Deir al-Zor pro-western militias has attacked. The Defence ministry reported that Russian fighters only fighters of Islamic State (IS) have attacked and that the Americans were pre-informed about the luchtoperatie.
The Pentagon had on Saturday reported that the Russians with luchtacties the pro-western Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) had attacked the east of the river Euphrates. The Kurdish and Arab militias of the SDF are part of the coalition led by the Americans against the IS fight. The SDF let to know that six of their fighters by the Russian attack were injured.
