Cargo ship Dragon returned from the ISS to Earth

The cargo ship Dragon, owned by SpaceX, after a month spent on the International space station successfully returned to Earth. According to information posted on Twitter, SpaceX, ISS, the spacecraft undocked at 11:47 Moscow time and started to decline. At 17:20 Moscow time the ship entered the atmosphere, and then landed. SpaceX confirmed that the twelfth mission of the truck was successfully completed.

The cargo ship arrived at the ISS with three tons of cargo on Board in mid-August, 2017 and delivered to the ISS food, basic necessities, equipment and materials for experiments. Among other things, the hold of a ship to the ISS delivered a new supercomputer and laboratory mice, who will take part in the experiment to minimise the negative effects of gravity on a person’s vision. In addition, due to arriving on the ISS, the cargo, the astronauts will conduct the experiment on growing lung tissue in the orbit. With the cargo delivered and the nano-satellite equipped with a telescope — with its help scientists will be able to study the Earth from low-earth orbit.

Dragon is the only cargo vehicle capable of delivering cargo to the ISS, and then to return the payload back to Earth.
