UPDATE 23.59 PM – The mayor of the Belgian Mouscron, Alfred Gadenne (71), is stabbed to death in a cemetery. One suspect, who is now known, has been arrested.
Gadenne lives right in front of the cemetery and would every evening, the cemetery itself is to close. Monday night was around 20.00 hours all wrong. He was taken by an armed man met, attacked, and killed, reports the public prosecutor.
Also, the current prime minister, Charles Michel says, “with disgust, to have knowledge” of the “brutal death” of Gadenne.
