Cuba remains behind with a trail of destruction

HAVANA –

The path that the hurricane Irma Saturday along the north coast of Cuba followed, is full of ravages left behind. The water in the Gulf of Mexico was high, whipped up and washed up far away in the streets of the capital Havana. Along hundreds of miles of coastline urged the sea to the land.

There are as yet no official data of the authorities in Havana about victims in Cuba. The country prides itself on the adequate functioning rampenorganisatie. Several foreign media to report that so far in the entire Caribbean for more than twenty deaths.

Thousands of residents of the Cuban coast were used by the army as a precaution to shelters. The government had also about 5,000 tourists from the hotels and resorts along the coast to safer places.
