’No victims on the island of Saba’

The hurricane Irma that Wednesday managed on the Windward islands of Saba no casualties. That said, the lieutenant-governor of Saba, Jonathan Johnson, opposite the Curacao radio station Dolphin FM.

However, the roofs of some houses weggewaaid. “There is no power, but we are working on. The telephone traffic and internet traffic is quickly restored.” Johnson called the trace of Irma ’very heavy’. “The wind was very heavy. It sounded as if there hours very close to a train went by.”

According to Johnson, many trees destroyed. The residents immediately went to the mess to clean up. Johnson is pleased that the ’reasonably well is gone’ on the island of Saba.
