Hurricane Irma casts its shadow ahead: the dozens of people who are in the Dominican Republic to stay, must quickly find a safe shelter search. The storm left a trail of destruction havoc on, among others, Sint Maarten, landing there within a few days.

Naomi Luyben lives in Las Terrenas in the province of Samana, and works there as a receptionist. Together with her mother and brother, they are rapidly ready to leave for Jarabacoa which they are no longer at sea.
The situation is unreal: it is still, sunny weather, and in nothing, it seems that the severe weather events in arrival.
