Polish prime minister supports the claim WWII

WARSAW –

The Polish minister of Foreign Affairs Witold Waszczykowski supports the ruling party’s intention to claim compensation against Germany to serve due to damage suffered in the Second world War. “We need the Germans to seriously engage in dialogue and discuss how we solve the problem”, he told at radio RFM FM.

The relations between Poland and Germany, are still overshadowed by the German aggression of 1939 and unresolved post-war questions. The minister of Internal Affairs of the conservative government in Warsaw, Mariusz Blaszczak, treasure the material war damage to 840 billion euro. “Maybe even more”, said Waszczykowski Monday, because “precise calculations are more than seventy years, done more.”

The scientific bureau of the Polish parliament is currently examining whether the country’s legal possibilities to claim compensation. Germany takes the view that Poland of all claims waived.
