ATHENS –
More than 50 km south of the Greek holiday island of Rhodes has a Friday at the beginning of the evening, an earthquake with a strength of 5.0 occurred. That has the European seismological centre EMSC published. The epicentre was closest to Lardos.
EMSC estimates that more than a half a million people in the area, in the Aegean sea off the coast of Turkey, the shock was felt. There are no reports about victims or damage.
