The Venezuelan opposition needs the help of pope Francis called for an end to the serious political and economic crisis in the country. The leader of the roman catholic church in the socialist government of president Nicolás Maduro should insist on the acceptance of humanitarian assistance and respect for human rights.
“Our country is in a crisis of unprecedented magnitude”, said european parliament president Julio Borges Thursday. It is missing in Venezuela to everything, especially food and medicines. The regime denies that and points to the help offered by, for example, charities.
