PHOENIX –
Thousands of people in Phoenix, in the U.s. state of Arizona, protested against president Donald Trump. The police had the crowd scattering with pepper spray when protesters agents began to throw stones and bottles. The authorities were prepared for riots, and had taken the precaution of riot police at the ready.
Outside, it leads to a confrontation between the police and activists.

The president was to Phoenix came despite a warning from the mayor. Democrat Greg Stanton had Trump advised his visit, but the president put that advice down beside her. Many people are strongly opposed to the plans of Trump to along the border with Mexico a wall to build to illegal immigration.
