The spacecraft “Soyuz MS-05” 00.55 Moscow time, successfully docked to a small research module “Dawn”, referring to the Russian segment of the ISS. The spacecraft delivered into orbit the participants of the long expedition MKS-52/53: of Roscosmos cosmonaut Sergey Ryazanskiy, NASA astronaut Randolph Bresnik and the ESA astronaut Paolo Nespoli.
“Soyuz MS-05” was launched from “Gagarin’s start” Baikonur cosmodrome to the International space station on July 28 at 18:41 Moscow time. The vehicle rendezvous with the station took place automatically at short chetyrehvalkovoj scheme. The process was controlled by the specialists of the mission control Center. Mechanical seizure of the ship took place at 00.55 Moscow time, followed by checking the tightness of connections. Two hours later, the astronauts opened the hatches and moved to the ISS.
On Board the ISS the astronauts will stay 139 days. In the flight program scientifically-applied researches and experiments of Russian cosmonauts in open space, maintenance of the station, the completion of photos and video footage of events on the ISS, participation in the sessions educational and informational in nature, reports Roskosmos.
