GURNITZ –
A heavily drunken driver who is in Austria on the wrong lane of the road fell asleep behind the wheel, turns out to be a policeman. According to Austrian media Thursday, the man had so much alcohol that he was already driving through the village Gurnitz his eyes no longer open could hold and fell asleep.
Other road users saw the car with the sleeping 59-year-old man in the middle of the road and alerted the police. When the drunk police officer by his colleagues with the necessary effort was aroused, he started the car to drive away. Then hit an agent with a driver’s side window and snatched the key from the ignition switch to prevent that.
The policeman was on the spot, his driver’s license to return and may face disciplinary measures tegemoetzien.
