The event, along with other well-known businessmen and politicians called for Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev — he recognized the importance of transition to sustainable public transportation and promised to fully support such initiatives.
“We support this direction of development in 2017 producers of urban above-ground electric vehicle grant in the amount of 900 million rubles,” — said Medvedev.
Touched Medvedev and the topic of Autonomous cars. He acknowledged that the introduction of such technologies will allow to use such transport for the disabled and minors, reduce the number of accidents and reduce the cost of the trip. However, the Prime Minister noted that although appropriate instructions have been given, development of software and hardware will take a lot of time, because in addition to the technical base will require a revision of the legislation.
