With the American president Donald Trump as the guest of honor has France Friday national holiday celebrated. Trump followed Friday on the side of the French head of state, Emmanuel Macron, the traditional military parade on the Champs-Élysées. Immediately after the start flew fighter planes in formation over the boulevard of Paris.
The reason for the visit of Trump is the commemoration of the American commitment in the First world War exactly 100 years ago. The Americans fought when together with France against Germany. The parade took more than 3,700 soldiers and more than two hundred vehicles part. Also, American soldiers marched along, five of them in uniforms from the time of the First world War.
