The number of nuclear weapons over the past thirty years dramatically reduced, but that is no reason to be relieved to take a breath. The nuclear powers invest understand huge amounts in the modernization of their weaponry. That enables the Stockholm International peace research Institute SIPRI said in a Monday report published.
The institute sees no signs that worldwide only one nuclear power prepared of their nuclear weapons away. Although all the nuclear powers are doing their arsenals to modernize, it appears at once from the report that the number of nuclear warheads continued to decline. Beginning 2017, the United States, Russia, Britain, China, Pakistan, India, France, North Korea and Israel possess a total of an estimated 14.935 nuclear weapons.
Also, states with few nuclear warheads to invest according to the report in the renewal. France possesses three hundred nuclear weapons, followed by China with 270 and Great Britain, with 215. The researchers estimate that North Korea now in ten to twenty nuclear warheads.
